Davies Turner has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Co-ordinator to join their Freight Forwarding team in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Location: Avonmouth, BS11 8DT

Salary: £25,000 + per annum (dependant on experience) PLUS benefits

Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Internal Sales Co-ordinator - The Role:

For this internal sales position, you will be part of the sales team covering the South West and Wales region. The role will include managing inbound enquires and requests, supporting the external sales team with quotes, tenders and customer service related activities. A key part of the role will be making outward-bound sales calls and working to convert these leads into customers. A close working relationship with our operational and management team will be essential, as we believe a whole team approach to developing business is essential.

Internal Sales Co-ordinator - You:

For this Internal Sales Co-Ordinator opportunity, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience so if you have any of the following, we want to hear from you:

  • Experience in providing sales support, processing sales administration and handling customer enquiries
  • Experience in making outward sales calls and exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, adaptable and willing to learn
  • The understanding and experience to issue and follow up quotations, tenders, and proposals
  • Commercial awareness with good negotiation skills
  • A team player keen to play a part in the success of the branch
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft packages, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • An understanding of importing or exporting processes and ideally the freight industry.

In addition, you'll also need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
