The Company:
Our client is a Specialist College looking for an IT Service Desk Manager to join their team on a 3 month temporary basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity to progress in your career and work for an innovative company. This role is based in Central London and you must be available to start immediately.
The Role:
- Responsible for providing the day-to-day running of the service desk operations to make sure the needs of the users are met.
- Hybrid working.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the service desk on a day to day basis. Being able to ensure the correct procedures are consistently being used and are working as expected.
- Proactively able to identify any areas that need to be improved with the service desk.
- Measuring and being able to report the service desk functions.
- Being able to create and send effective and informative communications to the colleges users, regarding IT updates and policy and process changes. Ensuring this is received effectively.
- Being on hand in the office to fix AV and meeting room set up.
The Person:
Our client is looking for someone who has experience with up to 2nd line support and to have Atlassian Jira Service Desk experience. You will need to be able to start immediately to apply for this position.
