Electrical Engineering Team Leader Position Overview
My client are a chemical manufacturing and filling company based in Bury. They currently are recruiting for an Electrical Engineering Team Leader working alongside the Mechanical Engineering Manager. The role is to prioritise workload for the 11 engineers on site.
The main duties will be to ensure that planned preventative maintenance is completed on time, to ensure breakdowns are prioritised with the production team to ensure that they failures are fixed in order of the business priorities. You will also be delivering small projects to improve the site and efficiencies on the production lines.
Electrical Engineering Team Leader Position Requirements
- Experience working in an Electrical Engineering discipline
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent
- 17th/18th Edition Qualification
- Experience working in an FMCG environment.
- CMMS systems management experience.
- Experience in control of contractors.
- LOTOTO Systems maintenance and management.
- Permit to Work systems including reviewing RAMS and supervising employees/contractors.
- Based within a commutable distance of Bury
Desirable skills but not essential:
- COMAH experience.
- Hazardous Area experience
- COMPEX Qualified.
- NEBOSH/ISOH qualifications.
- Safety Critical Maintenance
- PUWER understanding.
Electrical Engineering Team Leader Position Remuneration
- £46,000 P/A
- Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00 and Friday 08.00- 14.30
- Early finish Friday
- 31 Days Annual Leave
- Available overtime paid at premium rates
