They are on the lookout for an Interim Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP FRS102.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and have acquisition accounting knowledge
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting papers to support financial statement disclosures.
- Contribute towards the end-to-end audit process, including coordination with external auditors, and timely completion of audit deliverables.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as required.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting.
- Proven experience in a similar interim or contract role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and the ability to work with complex financial models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Day rate: £325-£375 per day.
