Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £40,000
My client is on the hunt for a curious and enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer to join there inclusive and diverse workplace.
Role Overview:
As a member of our Infrastructure team, you will:
- Manage and Maintain IT Infrastructure: Oversee and support IT infrastructure, whether hosted on-premises at one of our locations or deployed as cloud services.
- Design and Build Infrastructure: Develop new infrastructure solutions to meet the specific needs of assigned projects.
- Problem-Solve and Collaborate: Work within cross-functional project teams to resolve incidents and address technical challenges.
- Infrastructure Enhancement: Estimate, build, and automate the provisioning of infrastructure components, or upgrade existing systems to align with business requirements.
- Project and On-Call Support: Participate in IT projects and be prepared to work outside of standard hours, including on-call and weekend support, as per the Infrastructure Support rota.
Candidate Profile:
Extensive knowledge in the design and operational management of IT infrastructure, both in cloud environments and on-premises. Your hands-on experience with VMWare or Hyper-V, as well as with Windows and Linux operating systems, storage, and networking, will enable you to hit the ground running.
