Role Overview:

My client is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to conduct regular inspections during construction and provide advice on compliance issues, ensuring that work adheres to approved plans. By monitoring progress, they verify that the construction meets industry and regulatory standards.

This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to grow within a supportive and ambitious consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multi-sector projects, primarily in residential (60%) and educational sectors
  • Oversee new builds and existing residential buildings
  • Independently handle smaller projects
  • Conduct contracts administration (RC and RA)
  • Dealing with planning applications
  • Advise clients on dispute resolution.
  • Advising clients on projects
  • Managing budgets
  • Report preparation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered status is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of contracts administration
  • Ability to hit the ground running and manage projects independently
  • Commitment to longevity and willingness to put in hard graft.
