Personal Assistant
Location: Dartford (Hybrid working, 2 days at home and 3 days in the office)
Salary: GBP35,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for a well experienced Personal Assistant to join their ever-expanding team. You will be reporting to the UK Managing Director.
Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

  • To maximise the Managing Directors efficient use of time by dealing personally, with agreed aspects of his daily workload and proactively seeking improvements in this respect.
  • Provide support to the UK Management team with ad-hoc support to the wider UK Team.
  • To provide effective secretarial and administrative support across the wider group to other Directors, Managers and colleagues as required.
  • To manage projects/events delegated by the MD from time-to-time.
  • Support other PA staff

Specific MD support:

  • Help organise MDs diary and manage workload.
  • Review and manage MDs e-mails as appropriate.
  • Handle MDs post pro-actively.
  • Preparation of MDs monthly expenses and quarterly mileage claim.
  • Take on specific tasks as directed by the MD. Travel
  • Book UK and international travel and hotels for MD, management and sales teams.
  • Assist overseas visitors with travel and hotel arrangements. People
  • Arrange UK Inductions for new starters.
  • Assist in organising training for UK staff.
  • Organise Team building / Social Events for the team.

Requirements of the Personal Assistant:

  • 3 years minimum experience as a Personal Assistant.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Diligence in planning, execution, and follow-through.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and driven.
  • Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours when required.
