We are seeking a motivated Office Assistant to join a specialist consultancy in central Bath. This small business advises on high-end, bespoke residential, historic, and cultural projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on understanding complex details and is excited to grow in a niche field with extensive training and support.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Conduct research and analysis.
  • Assess and examine project schedules, specifications, and construction drawings and collate relevant data.
  • Engage with builders and project design teams to gather necessary information on ongoing projects.
  • Support with putting together documents and spreadsheets of findings for clients.
  • Handle general office administration, answer phones, and put together project documentation in a paperless environment.
  • Support compliance tasks such as money laundering checks and assist with preparing fee proposals.
  • Be up to date with current property and construction legislation.

WHAT WE'D LOVE TO SEE:

  • A background or strong interest in the construction and property industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
  • Have proficient mathematical skills and enjoy working with numbers and spreadsheets.
  • Analytical skills to digest complex information and interpret project specifics quickly.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining an organised, logical workspace.
  • IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and as a proactive team member.
