Position: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
About the Role:
Reed is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a school based in Aberdare, catering for children with additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our students and contribute to their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Student Assistance: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
- Resource Preparation: Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Behavior Management: Support the teacher in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as record-keeping and organizing student work.
- Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and support school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
