Commercial Insurance Underwriter - Hornchurch
Salary to 60k DOE + Bonus, Pension, and other benefits
This position can be office based, Hybrid
Our client is one of the UK's leading Insurance Underwriting Agencies specialising in the provision of insurance for commercial clients requiring Primarily quoting new and renewal construction and contracting business for all sections of cover such as Public/Products Liability, Employers Liability, Contractors All Risks, Excess of Loss, Material Damage, Director's & Officers, Legal Expenses and Professional Indemnity
They are now seeking to enhance the team by the addition of a Commercial Insurance Underwriter
You will be required to
- Utilise your insurance experience to pro-actively manage, maintain and grow client relationships with Brokers.
- Primarily quoting new and renewal construction and contracting business for all sections of cover such as Public/Products Liability, Employers Liability, Contractors All Risks, Excess of Loss, Material Damage, Director's & Officers, Legal Expenses and Professional Indemnity.
Requirements
- Communication - Ability to communicate at all levels with Agents and our clients team
- Ability to trade with Agents on individual cases and overall accounts
- Underwriting - Ability to following binder parameters
- Administration - Ensuring that all regulatory demands are met through your underwriting activities
- Technical - Maintain requisite knowledge and qualifications as required by regulatory bodies or our client to maintain appropriate competency for the role
- Monitor and report on underwriting developments
- Ability to be able to Underwrite our clients products to an intermediate level
