Learning Support Assistant - Autism (ASD)
Full-time, long-term role. Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 3.30pm
Pay: £83.33 per day

The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be an integral part of creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one assistance to students with ASD, adapting support to their unique needs.

Collaborating with teachers and professionals to implement tailored education plans.

Building positive relationships with students, fostering trust, and promoting a sense of security.

Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism.
What We're Looking For: We're seeking a candidate with the following qualities:

You must hold the right to work in the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to get a new one - a new one costs £46 and we will pay you the £46 back once you have worked 20 days for us

Resilience and a thick skin to handle challenging behaviours.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of ASD and effective strategies to support students.

A positive attitude and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment.

Relevant qualifications and/or experience in supporting individuals with ASD.
