A growing and successful manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join their Sunderland finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role, seving as no.2 in finance reporting directly to the Financial Controller, and will assist with key financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurat and timely management accounts
- Involvement in costing and stock management
- Conduct variance analysis
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Support the implementation of new forecasting systems and SAP upgrades
- Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant accountants
Qualifications and Experience:
- Finalist or fully qualified accountant
- Experience with SAP is preferred
- Proven experience in costing and SOX compliance
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
