Venture Recruitment Partners are supporting a growing SME, based on the outskirts of Southampton, in their search for a Credit Controller on a 9-12 month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the the external accounting firm to ensure seamless financial processes.
- Review and cross-check invoices, submitted to clients, ensuring accuracy and prompt payment.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers, keeping financial records up-to-date and accurate.
- Build and maintain relationships, with both clients and vendors, becoming the go-to person for queries, payment discussions, and financial negotiations.
- Chase debt proactively, with confidence on the phone and via email, ensuring timely payments, even across international markets.
Key Skills and Experience include:
- Proven experience in credit control, ideally with exposure to international clients.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone – you're confident, persuasive, and personable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing your time and priorities effectively.
Salary - £25-30,000 p/a
