This global leader in project development and construction is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their Infrastructure team on a major project. Your role will be to provide expert advice, guidance, and coaching to Senior Management, driving the goal of zero accidents.

Key Duties

  • Assist the Project teams with the production, review, and implementation of the Construction Phase Plan / Project Execution Plan
  • Liaison with Trade Contractors, Designers, Suppliers, Client, Enforcement Agencies, and other relevant parties
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations, identifying root cause and contributory factors
  • Coordinate the auditing of projects under their responsibility and others as directed
  • Auditing of Trade Contractors, Designers, and Suppliers, and coordinating with the Procurement Team

Key Criteria

  • Previous experience in a Senior Safety role delivering against relevant construction project, e.g., large infrastructure (essential)
  • General Health & Safety NEBOSH certificate or above
  • Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards this
  • Experience of working with Highways England as a client
  • Experience of managing Highways work
