Customer Services Manager

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading global manufacturer of engineered sensing technology based in the northwest in the recruitment of a customer service manager.

The business has been developing highly advanced sensing technologies for more than 80years, delivering valuable data for a wide range of systems, including appliances, heating, motor vehicles and aircraft. With over 3,000 employees worldwide across 5 manufacturing facilities the business is looking to appoint an experienced customer service manager to manage a team that service the European market.

Reporting to the sales operations manager you will be responsible for managing the flow of customer's orders from receipt of the order to delivery of the product.

Duties include:

  • Lead the customer service organisation for Europe and effectively manage a team of customer service reps
  • Oversee customer orders and finished goods continuity.
  • Ensure timely communication with the customers and appropriate escalations.
  • Communicate regularly with customers and sales representatives to discuss situations and their progress.
  • Collect and analyse customer service department metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement project to improve process efficiency and quality.
  • Maximise use of Oracle, and other tools to track and update customers on orders.
  • Creation, maintenance of Customer Service processes and procedures, work instructions. Improve processes where possible; ensure proper processes and regulations followed.
  • Other duties and/or special projects as needed.

YOU:

  • Experience working in a customer service role and leading a team.
  • Experience in managing ERP systems such as Oracle.
  • Knowledge MS OFFICE, PULL, JIT, KANBAN
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Personable and professional

Benefits:

  • Salary of up to £50k DOE
