Financial Accountant | Maidstone | Up to £52k
Our client a successful and rewarding business are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team.
The role provides flexible working with a minimum of 1 x day working in the Maidstone office. The company also provides excellent benefits for employees that encourage a great work-life balance.
The main responsibilities will include:-
- Ensure all accounts and processes are completed effectively and efficiently according to targets.
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- To work alongside finance team members to prepare monthly performance and annual finance statements.
- Preparation and presentation of statutory accounts.
- Assist with information for the company's audit process.
- To carry out balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
- Implement and maintain a strong control environment across all areas of finance
- Support ad-hoc group projects as required.
What you will need:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of the financial audit process
- Experience of financial controls
- Experience of third-party engagements such as audit and tax
- Execution focused with an eye for detail
- Self-starter able to work independently to deliver results
- Good communication skills across all levels, with third parties and cross-border
- Experience in overseeing payroll is advantageous
