Accounts Assistant

We are supporting our Lymington based client with their search for a part time Accounts Assistant (Sage experience essential), this is a great opportunity working with a friendly team you will have a lot of autonomy when it comes to picking your hours and work schedule.

Main duties will include.

  • Support the day-to-day function of the accounts department.
  • Assisting with processing financial transactions across both Sales & Purchase Ledgers.
  • Process bank transactions and transfers
  • Reconciling all bank accounts.
  • Chase outstanding debts.
  • Maintain accruals and prepayments.
  • Deal with general accounts queries
  • Provide management information and attend management meetings where necessary.

Role Requirements;

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Qualification in accountancy e.g AAT bookkeeping or working towards CCAB/CIMA. Or qualified by experience.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Excel, experience with Sage Line 50
  • Excellent communication skills

This is initially a temporary position for up to 3 months with the possibility of becoming permanent (Permanent recruitment for this role planned for later this year)
