About the Role
Reporting directly to the COO, you will oversee the finance team, currently consisting of 2, and manage all aspects of the finance function. This role is perfect for someone eager to take on a leadership position and drive the financial strategy of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the finance function, including payroll.
- Develop corporate fundraising strategies and manage relationships with financial partners and investors.
- Lead the company's annual sales forecasting, stock purchasing, and budgeting processes.
- Design and prepare monthly management information (MI) reports and KPIs.
- Maintain the 3-year financial forecasting model.
- Oversee sales and stock flow forecasting models.
- Manage treasury and cash flow reporting.
- Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee and control the year-end stock take.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee company IT facilities and coordinate with external IT support.
- Contribute to other ad hoc projects as needed.
Finance Controller Experience and Attributes:
- You will be an experienced Financial Controller aiming to step up to a Finance Director role, with experience liaising extensively with the Board. Advantageous if you have gained some of your experince within a smaller business.
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Significant post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with non-financial staff, senior management, and the board.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Business Central ERP system and advanced Excel skills advantageous
