Shift Pattern: 4 day working week (Fridays off)

Our client is a growing Manufacturer in the Aerospace industry. They offer a variety of aircraft solutions and products for a variety of Aerospace industries. They are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team as they are experiencing a period of rapid growth and expansion. The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will join the team and assist with designing electronic circuits from concept to production.

Electrical Design Engineer Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and simulate electronic circuits.
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Prototype and test PCBs and circuits.
  • Develop and update design documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
  • Design test rigs and equipment.
  • Interpret customer requirements.
  • Identify and communicate technical risks.
  • Present technical solutions at design reviews.
  • Support cross-functional problem-solving for design issues and failures.

Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Evidence of problem-solving capability and methods
  • Evidence of hands-on' experience, i.e., Prototyping and bench testing PCBs and circuits.
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Experience with Design software packages:
  • CAD software - ideally SOLIDWORKS
  • ECAD software - ideally TINA TI/LT Spice/Altium
