ASA Recruitment is seeking a motivated Community Works Operative to support our clients Roads & Community Works team. As part of this team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the roads and contributing to a cleaner, safer environment for our communities.
Key Responsibilities As A Community Works Operative:
General road maintenance, including winter care
Use of powered tools, plant, and machinery
Applying bitumen and maintaining footpaths and roads
Supporting drainage and trench excavation tasks
Collaborating with higher-graded operatives and assisting with various community works
What We Are For As A Community Works Operative:
Experience in road and drainage construction
Skills in kerb laying, bitumen application, and operating powered tools
A valid driving license is essential
Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments
A strong team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn
You will be part of a dynamic team ensuring road safety and community cleanliness in all weather conditions. This is a physically demanding role requiring a good health record.
