Warehouse Operative - rotating shifts - early, lates and nights

Adecco is currently recruiting for a number of General Operators to join a new team for a scientific company in Swindon. Our client is seeking 5 Operators to join their team ASAP on a temporary ongoing contract, which may lead to a permanent position.

Days Required to Work During the Week: Monday - Friday

Training Hours: 8.30am to 4.40pm training for 3 months and then moving to the below weekly shift pattern - early, lates and nights.

Shifts: 7am - 3pm / 3pm - 11pm / 11pm - 7am on a weekly rotating shift pattern after training period is completed.

Pay Rate: £23,000 per anum plus 26% shift allowance after 3 month training period

Contract Type: On going temp

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated General Operator to join our team, contributing to the production of sterile medicines for patients in highly controlled environments known as "Classified Areas" or "Cleanrooms." This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness and suitability of these areas for the manufacturing process, adhering to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly disinfect equipment and maintain the environment using methods tailored for classified areas.
  • Perform environmental monitoring, ensuring compliance with local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure adequate material supplies for production, maintaining necessary stock levels.
  • Strictly follow GMP and SOPs, ensuring all tasks are properly documented.
  • Adhere to cleanroom rules, including personal hygiene, gowning qualifications, and comportment (such as controlling movement speed and disinfecting hands regularly).
  • Assist with equipment processing, vial handling, and weight checks to ensure product quality.
