Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant, to join their team on a rolling, monthly basis, to assist with a busy period in the finance department.
Duties may include:
- Processing large quantities of invoices, coding, batching etc.
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs, as well as ad hoc payments
- Managing internal and external queries, as well as manging the inbox.
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing expenses
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc support on projects, assisting the Finance Manager.
The successful candidate will:
- Be available on immediate notice and interested in temporary or contract opportunities.
- Strong Excel skills – ability to navigate VLOOKUP's, sumif's, pivot tables etc.
- Exposure to different accounting systems, such as Sage.
- Previously experience within an Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or Accounts/Finance Assistant level position.
- AAT qualifications (desired not essential).
