Trade Floor Support Engineer in London
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Trade Floor Support Engineer to join our client's leading financial services firm based in the heart of London. As part of this dynamic and innovative team, you will be responsible for providing technical support across multiple trading platforms while working closely with traders on real-time monitoring, order entry, routing orders and maintaining critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch trade floor support
- Ensure seamless integration through FIX Protocol
- Work collaboratively with Algorithmic Trading teams
- Maintain effective communication channels between front office staff
Qualifications & Skills:
Trade Floor Experience:
As a successful candidate, you should have at least 3 years' experience supporting complex trading environments within fast-paced settings such as hedge funds or investment banks. You must have worked alongside both Traders and Developers alike.
FIX protocol knowledge is essential.
Experience integrating different systems using the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol standard would greatly enhance your candidacy; proficiency here demonstrates that candidates can effectively leverage their skills towards delivering solutions quickly.
Real-Time Monitoring Capabilities :
The ability to monitor live feeds accurately ensuring timely alerts where necessary is crucial so we require someone who has had hands-on experience doing just that whether it was previously done via bespoke tooling or off-the-shelf products .
Trading Infrastructure Management Skillset :
Candidates need extensive skillsets managing high availability infrastructures particularly those deployed into mission-critical areas such as finance industry environments.
