A balustrade manufacturer catering to the domestic and commercial industries across the
UK is looking for an Internal Sales Manager to join the dynamic and fast-paced team that will be responsible for developing the team and driving new business.
Based in Blindley Heath, this position is well suited for a technical or mechanical qualified Team leader with experience managing sales teams selling products to the construction and related building sectors.
What you'll do as Internal Sales Manager:
- Lead and develop the team to become more efficient in qualifying and managing leads.
- Recruit and train Internal Consultants.
- Analyse the existing processes and procedures and provide guidance to the internal team to increase business.
- Identify marketing trends and opportunities, and report these to the marketing department to develop new strategies.
- Improve relationships with current partners and identify new partners and channels.
We're looking for an Internal Sales Manager with:
- Experience in technical sales management selling into the construction, building merchant, home building or similar industries.
- Experience in developing sales teams in dealing with leads effectively.
- Strong sales and customer service skills are required.
- Confident phone manners and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage
- workloads efficiently.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software including all Microsoft programmes.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30.
