The key responsibilities of an Credit Controller will include, but may not be limited to;
- Managing customer debt recovery
- Issuing invoices and credit notes
- Resolving payment discrepancies
- Updating and maintaining customer records
- Conducting credit checks on potential customers
- Reporting on debt status to senior management
- Collaborating with the sales team to establish credit terms
- Complying with all relevant financial regulations and standards
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Public Sector and Government background
- A strong educational background in Accounting & Finance
- Proficiency in using financial software
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
