Description
- Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments and facilities
- Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment
- Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects
- Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications
- Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials
- Supervising and training project team members as necessary
- Investigating customer or public complaints, determining nature and extent of problem
- Recommending solutions
Profile
A successful Electrical Engineer should have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems and their components
- Proficiency in designing, testing and debugging electrical hardware
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various departments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas
