Meraki Talent are engaged on a permanent appointment of a Management Accountant based in Edinburgh with fantastic flexible/hybrid working paying up to £35,000 plus benefits.

The Role
The position of Management Accountant will report to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Senior Accountant . The key components of the role will be:
- Business partnering with internal & external stakeholders
- Involvement in high profile projects
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Ensuring robust month-end close
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Overseeing fixed assets & intercompany transactions
- Accruals, prepayments & journals
- Supervising transactional finance - AP, bank reconciliations etc.
- Oversight of general ledger
- Ad-Hoc duties

Candidate Profile
We are keen to engage with candidates who are actively studying a professional qualification, although qualified by experience individuals will also be considered. You must have the following experience to be considered:
- 2 years practical finance experience with good month-end & management accounting exposure
- Experienced in financial systems & software
- Proficient user of Excel
- Strong communication skills
