I am delighted to be supporting a growing construction subcontractor based in Teesside on the appointment of a Health & Safety Officer to join them on a permanent basis.
This role is to take a lead on providing health and safety services to the business and ensuring health and safety legislation and guidelines are adhered to across construction sites. This will include carrying out audits, preparing risk assessment and method statements, you're acting as HSE representative for the business and working with the wider site management team to ensure health and safety is adhered to across all sites. You will work to prepare and create HSE policy and procedure documentation.
To succeed in this role you will have previous health and safety experience and have operated within the construction industry. You will have IOSH/NEBOSH qualification and be able to lead health and safety activities within a site-based environment.
This role has the ability to grow further and develop into an HSE Manager role for the right candidate.
