My client is a car finance lender offering Hire Purchase and Personal Contract Purchase car finance, they are looking for a Commercial Director to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities and market trends.
- Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and optimise sales performance.
- Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Collaborate with finance to manage budgets and financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide regular reports on sales and marketing performance to the executive team.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role, demonstrating a successful track record of driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and analysing financial performance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex challenges and make informed choices.
