Main Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a collective goal and individual targets for the Bids team
- Maintain adequate, suitably trained resources within the team to deliver the goal
- Use a defined bid process and time management to achieve workload targets
- Provide bid win themes, strategy and review to each bid
- Maintain or improve on 50% win rate
- Attend bid interviews and clarification meetings where applicable
- Host bid/no-bid, kick-off, review and mobilisation meetings
- Conduct lessons learned analysis to ensure continuous improvement and feedback with key themes
- Report to Communications Director on attainment of activity targets and goals
- Work collaboratively with departmental heads to ensure that the Bids team has access to the latest information to support the bid process
- Ensure all team members maintain a competent understanding of our services, markets, and competitors
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience and knowledge of bid writing, ideally in the risk management or environmental consultancy market
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- A Full UK driving licence
- Familiarity with contractual agreements and client management
- Proactive, self-motivated and commercially minded
