Day to Day of the Role:
- Processing payroll transactions with precision and in accordance with school policies.
- Utilising WCBS PASS Payroll or quickly learning new systems to maintain payroll operations.
- Administering teacher pension schemes and defined benefit pension scheme payroll.
- Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll-related activities.
- Managing database HRIS effectively.
- Acting as the subject matter expert within the payroll team.
- Collaborating with the finance department to ensure seamless payroll integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Assistant or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with WCBS PASS Payroll or the ability to learn new payroll systems quickly.
- Experience with teacher pension schemes and defined benefit pension scheme payroll administration is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in using Database HRIS.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently as the subject matter expert.
- Solid understanding of payroll principles.
