Our client, a law firm in Birmingham, is recruiting for an experienced Head of IT to lead their IT department and drive technology initiatives aligned with the firm's strategic goals. The Head of IT will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee network infrastructure management, system administration and maintenance, cybersecurity protocols and measures, software and application deployment, and IT project management.
- Lead and manage the IT team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Maintain the security and efficiency of IT systems.
- Proactively identify and implement technology advancements and innovations.
- Handle vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Manage Citrix environments.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management roles.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT-related issues.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Experience managing Citrix environments.
- Strong communication skills.
