We are currently recruiting a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer for a consultancy company in Northamptonshire.
As Design Engineer you will support mechanical design and development of new test equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Creation of technical drawing and prototypes, including testing & Analysis.
- Support the improvement product safety to ensure CE compliance
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Technical File documentation
- Produce drawings for new equipment and modifications on existing products
- Ensure design projects meet technical brief including compliance, cost and on time.
Ideal candidates will have
A degree (or similar) in Engineering and have some experience from either an industrial placement or an apprenticeship ideally in an engineering design environment.
Experience in 3D CAD and ERP systems is desirable but full training is provided.
