Description
Company Accountant
- Responsible for the preparation, analysis, and consolidation of financial statements across the group of companies.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the group in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, or local accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts for the group.
- Monitor actual performance against the budget and provide variance analysis and commentary.
- Work with the finance team to improve financial reporting systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation, reporting, and analysis processes across the group.
Profile
The Successful Company Accountant:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accounting applications
- Studying toward either ACCA or CIMA
- Be comfortable working within a rapidly growing business
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
- Confident in advanced MS Excel techniques
- Comfortable working autonomously or collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills
