A large, beautiful country estate near Peterborough is looking for a traditional formal butler. The current Butler is retiring after 25 years with the family. A full team in the home includes Housekeepers, Chauffeurs, gardeners, and a cook. On a day-to-day basis, you will be looking after a couple and on occasion, they do like to host formal dinners and shoot lunches.
We are looking for a formal butler with experience caring for silver, crystal, and chinaware.
Duties will include:
- Lunch and dinner service
- Setting and clearing of table
- Valeting duties including packing of suitcases and shoe polishing
- Light driving duties
- Shoot weekends - If you do not have a license the estate will get one for you. (Cleaning and carrying of guns is required)
Working week: 41 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 Gross Per Annum
