Job Title: Financial Controller

Fixed Term Contract - 15-18 Months

Im working with a high growth Saas company who are looking for a financial controller to be appointed on a fixed term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and driving strategic financial planning. The Financial Controller will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and ensuring its financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
  • Lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring the timely submission of audit reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including departmental budgets and financial projections.
  • Support the CFO in developing long-term financial strategies and business plans.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Fully Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a financial controller or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
