My client is seeking an experienced trade counter assistant to join their small, friendly team. The ideal candidate must have previous trade counter sales experience, possess excellent communication skills, be pro-active and determined and demonstrate good IT skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and build relationships with customers in order to understand their requirements and offer advice on products
- Ensuring a tidy working environment and shop stock is clean, identifiable and in good order
- Ensure that company policies are followed at all times
- Support the Branch Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within Company Policy
- Liaise with suppliers and other branches, departments where necessary
- Perform any other duties including stock-taking and as maybe deemed necessary or as maybe required by the Company.
