Key Responsibilities as a CyberSec Software Engineer (DV Cleared)
- Design, develop & support critical systems that are pivotal to the UK's (and its allies!) safety.
- Contribute/Lead in setting up appropriate cyber security software development environments.
- Responsible for design decisions & the feature enhancements of complex software projects.
- Ensure all development projects are completed on-time and within budget.
- Manage PoC development plans with opportunities to present to customers.
- Define the CI/CD pipeline processes and testing methodologies.
- Continue to improve the UK's Defence Cyber Security Software Centre of Excellence.
Core experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Experience designing & developing quality software products using Python, Java, C, C++ or C#.
- Knowledge of object-orientated software design & programming.
- Comfortable building robust, tested code for highly complex software solutions.
- Experience disassembling and/or debugging external tools and libraries.
- Exposure to software configuration management tools such as Git/BitBucket
- Eagerness to learn a broad range of software technologies, most favourably native languages along with Python.
