They are now looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join their sociable finance team. This position is perfect for individuals eager to advance their accounting careers while contributing to a thriving quality driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports specific to service operations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely billing and collections.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting activities for service projects.
- Help streamline financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide assistance during audits and compliance reviews.
Requirements:
- AAT qualified / Studying CIMA/ACCA
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
