J unior Acoustic Consultant
A company that specialises in environmental consultancy and offers a wide range of services to support sustainable development and address environmental challenges is seeking a Junior Acoustic Consultant. The company collaborates with developers, local authorities, and other stakeholders to provide customised, practical, and innovative solutions tailored to each client's specific needs and requirements.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field, along with certification from the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
- Practical experience in conducting sound and noise assessments.
- Possession of a valid UK driver's licence.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across different departments to ensure the timely delivery and successful completion of all project deadlines.
- Compiling technical data from assessments and creating comprehensive technical reports for clients.
- Conducting surveys and assessments on noise and vibration using specialist modelling software.
- Ensuring that all assessments and remedial advice adhere to and exceed British standards, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining effective communication and building strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
