Frazer Jones is partnering with a Professional services firm in Bristol to help them recruit an Employee Relations Advisor on a 6-month contract.
Working within a busy ER team this role will provide all advice, solutions, coaching and support to managers and employees on a range of Employee Relation matters.
Reporting into the Employee Relations Manager you will join a national ER team providing support to multiple offices.
Main Duties will include:
- Provide proactive and consistent advice, coaching and supporting managers to improve capability and drive a culture of high performance.
- Case management, providing resolutions around performance, disciplinary, grievance, capability and sickness.
- Working closely with HR Business Partners on change programmes, supporting with TUPE and redundancies.
- Dealing with and supporting managers on complex case work, particularly around long term absence.
- Provide commercial advice to line managers and wider HR team around Employee Relation issues
- Analyse ER data to identify and highlight recurring trends, looking at insights to help put together relevant programmes and interventions.
- Keeping up to date with employment law and any changes to employment legislation.
What you will need:
- Proven experience of working within a busy Employee Relations focused role.
- Competent in providing advice and guidance on basic and complex case work.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and general Employee Relation principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
- Highly organised with good attention to detail and accuracy skills, along with the ability to use your own initiative to take ownership of tasks and projects.
