Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer School Group Leaders to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with international students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Group Leaders will be responsible for supervising and engaging with students, leading educational and recreational activities, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your group at all times.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and implement a variety of educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
  • Instructional Support: Assist with academic instruction, provide tutoring support, and help students with assignments.
  • Behavior Management: Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, managing group dynamics and addressing any behavioral issues promptly and effectively.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, and program coordinators regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other group leaders and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program.
  • Attendance and Records: Keep accurate attendance records and report any absences or incidents to the program coordinator.
  • Role Modeling: Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating responsible and respectful behaviour.

Qualifications:

  • UK undergraduate or postgraduate, native speaker preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize activities that engage and educate students.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Background check clearance ( or provide two references )
  • Cambridge Local information preferred

  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality.
  • Patience and understanding in dealing with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
