About the Role:
Tradewind Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity at a renowned SEND school in Shrewsbury. We are searching for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to work full-time, providing essential support to students aged 3-19 with a range of SEND diagnoses and EHCPs.
Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support children with various additional needs, including but not limited to:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- Severe Learning Difficulties
- Complex Needs
Your role will involve working closely with these students, providing tailored assistance to help them achieve their educational goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or substantial related experience
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one
- The legal right to work in the UK
- A comprehensive educational and employment history
Contract Details:
The position is initially available until the end of the first term, with the strong likelihood of extension for candidates who demonstrate a good fit for the school.
