About the Role
As data is a key asset for HL as a business we need to have the platform that will allow BI, Analytics, ML and Data Products to drive business insights and new opportunities.
We have delivered the initial use case to support this for our Active Savings platform, although this is just the first step.
This role is to understand the key business value drivers from data and drive the platform direction and capabilities to allow HL to scale its opportunities through data.
What you'll be doing
- Playing a pivotal role in a major HL wide transformation
- Partnering closely with technical and business leaders and teams to understand business processes and data flows/challenges/opportunities and design solutions to deliver better outcomes for our clients and colleagues
- Setting the data platform technical vision, strategy and governance
- Working alongside other technical and business teams to understand opportunities to simplify ways of working with data
- Recruiting and shaping an existing team to be a high performing set of talented and experienced integration professionals with the ability to flex with partners
- Driving technical delivery, continuous improvement and innovation
- Establish a culture that is driven by purpose and excellence and a team that is motivated to make a difference
About you
- Strong technology leadership experience within complex organisations
- Led transformative change across large organisations
- Acted as a strong partner to multiple business areas in order to deliver on key priorities with a one team mindset
- Significant experience across complex technology estates with defining and delivering data capabilities to enable colleagues to work with data in an easily consumable way to support the HL business initiatives as well as BAU
- Able to work under pressure with many competing priorities, manage ambiguity and drive for clarity and results
Interview process
This is a 3 stage interview process which compromises of an informal 30 minute discussion with the hiring manager, and two structured competency and technical focused interviews which will last between an hour to an hour and a half each.
Working Schedule
37.5 hours flexible based upon meeting business demands with occasional onsite visits at the Bristol office
