Accounts Assistant
REED are exclusively recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a Health Services Company that work closely with private providers and the NHS, offering a wide range of other services. The role will include ensuring accurate and timely billing and cash allocation.
This is a HYBRID Role, working 2 days a week in the offices near Blandford.

- Location: HYBRID - 2 days based near Blandford / 3 days from Home
- Salary: £25,000 per annum
Day to Day of the role:
- Create and send out invoices across various revenue streams, including NHS Contracts and private patients.
- Upload invoices to customer portals and create supporting schedules.
- Accurately record and allocate cash received in the company's Finance system and Stripe.
- Resolve billing and payment queries from both internal and external sources, including issuing credit notes and processing refunds.
- Monitor Finance mailboxes, providing timely and professional responses to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure billing information is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit activities.
- Contribute to the improvement of billing processes and financial systems.
- Provide cover for other billing-related activities as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A-level education or equivalent qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Demonstrable experience within an Accounts Assistant role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high-volume billing.
- Proficiency in using accounting software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve queries effectively.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement in billing processes.
