C# .Net Developer - Manchester (Hybrid remote)

Work on varied development projects relating to a high volume, large scale, low latency enterprise system used by millions of customers across the UK and U.S.

Based in Manchester city centre (2 days a week in office), this role is paying between £50k and £55k + 10% bonus.

THE ROLE:

As part of an established scrum development team, you will be working on a mix of new development and existing systems in support of the organisations move from monolithic to micro-services. This will include complete application rewrites from the ground up, and because everything is containerized and there is no fixed mandate on how to do things, the t eam collectively decides on how to approach the solution.

Duties:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining new software applications
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Investigating, debugging and resolving software issues
  • Participating in peer code reviews and estimations of work.
  • Participating in end-user interactions to gather requirements and provide support.

Requirements:

  • 3 years + in development
  • Proficient in C# .Net
  • Experience with SQL Server (MongoDB beneficial)
  • An interest in system performance improvement
