Live in Accommodation: Own bedroom with a double bed, two wardrobes and two desks, a window overlooking a quiet back garden, her own shower in a bathroom that is shared with the children (they use the bathtub and brush their teeth there).

Summary:

This is a lovely live in Nanny Housekeeper family, working with a Italian family living in the heart of Brackenbury Village (Hammersmith, London). Mum is a single Mum and is looking for long term support.

They live in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a Victorian maisonette with a separate kitchen and a large living room space. It is very bright, on a quiet road, overlooking a private garden.

Italian is the main language spoken at home. Both children, and Mum also speak English.

Duties include:

  • 7-9am would require preparing breakfast for the girls, wake them up, give them breakfast, brush their teeth, dress them for nursery and school, drop them off. From Sept the drop off/pick up location will coincide. It's about 15min walk.
  • 3-7pm would require pick up, snack, take them to various after school activities 2 days per week, playdates, homework, bath time, dinner. Mum usually get home at 6-15/6:30pm so will take over for bedtime.
  • 9-3pm would require cleaning up the kitchen, load the dishwasher, laundry, make the girls beds and general house cleaning if the role is inclusive of such task.

This role will suit you if you are sweet and caring, with a positive attitude. You like to engage in role-play, colouring, music activities with the girls and is pro-active in suggesting activities that can be educational for the children.

We are looking for someone who also can be firm when needed but that treats little people and grown-ups with equal respect. Someone who places safety as a high priority when caring for the children and who can become part of our family.

Ideally looking for an Italian-speaking candidate for language continuity, but English is equally as important a requirement as the person will have to engage with teachers, help with homework etc.
