This is the role for you, our client is a dynamic and thriving finance firm in Dorset. Currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of their team as an Administrator!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer external telephone calls, ensuring a professional and friendly manner at all times.
  • Check answer machine messages and distribute them to the appropriate team members.
  • Record, scan, and distribute incoming and outgoing post accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide reception cover in Ferndown, if required.
  • Prepare draught proposals for clients, ensuring that all terms are included and up to date.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the workflow throughout the accountancy services division.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of all software platforms used by the accountancy services.
  • Undertake new client take-on in accordance with company procedures and comply with anti-money laundering procedures.
  • Call in books and records in line with workflow timescales and maintain a database of records held.
  • Maintain client details on IRIS/Karbon/PI database accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor and review information on Karbon to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Scan and upload client records to the portal efficiently.
  • Liaise with clients to prepare and submit confirmation statements.
  • Provide support to other Administrators within the team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using software platforms utilised by the accountancy services.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work well in a team and provide support to other team members when necessary.
