- Band: 6
- Location: Birmingham
- Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
- Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
A Day in the Life of a Community Psychiatric Nurse:
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting home visits to ensure patients' needs are being met.
- Administering medications at scheduled times to manage patients' conditions.
- Engaging with patients to understand their mental health conditions, helping them in the most effective ways, and monitoring their progress.
- Performing risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients and those around them, maintaining a secure treatment environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active NMC registration as a mental health nurse.
- Proven experience in Early Intervention Services (EIS) or community settings.
- Experience managing a caseload is a must!
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to providing the highest quality of care for patients.
