We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community starting in September. This role involves covering classes across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Reception, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3. Our school is dedicated to providing a supportive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across EYFS, Reception, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3.
  • Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Provide cover for class teachers during their PPA time, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching across EYFS and Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and National Curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing the best possible education for our pupils.
